Paul Zimprich, DVM
Dr. Zimprich is originally from Cooperstown, North Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biotechnology at North Dakota State University. He then went to pursue his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. Dr. Zimprich specialized in equine medicine while doing an internal medicine and surgical internship at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, Florida. Following completion of his internship at Peterson and Smith, he took an associate position as an Equine Practitioner with Tranquility Large Animal Veterinary Service in Andover, New Jersey. After one year as associate, Dr. Zimprich purchased the equine fraction of Tranquility Large Animal Veterinary Service and renamed the division East Coast Equine Veterinary Service under his ownership.
In his spare time, Dr. Zimprich enjoys working on home improvements and skydiving.
Dr. Alex Ciuffitelli is a Sussex County native and horsewoman who enjoys riding and eventing. She began her professional career as a Seasonal Technician with ECEVS in 2008 while she was earning her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from Cook College, Rutgers University. In 2010, Dr. Alex made the decision to pursue her Veterinary Medicine Doctorate (VMD) at the University of Pennsylvania. While enrolled at U Penn., Dr. Alex continued to assist Dr. Paul and Dr. Jesslyn during her summer and semester breaks in order to gain invaluable field knowledge and experience. Upon graduation, Dr. Alex was welcomed back to the ECEVS team as an Associate Practitioner. Dr. Alex completed the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians program in 2015 and is certified in Acupuncture.
In her spare time, Dr. Alex enjoys running, cooking, baking, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband.
Dr. Tracy Mandrona grew up in Toms River, NJ and received her undergraduate degree in Equine Science from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA. She received her DVM from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2020, she completed a one year internship with Southern Equine Service in Aiken, SC. In her spare time, Dr. Tracy enjoys hiking, riding, and spending time with her husband Zach, three dogs Nessie, Kola, and Herbie and horse named Bjorn. She is a member of the AAEP as well as the AVMA.
