Jill Zimprich

Practice Manager

Jill is NJ native born and raised in Hackettstown. Jill was first introduced to horses as an infant and began taking lessons at 7 years old. She has owned and ridden horses her whole life and brings over 20 years of horse experience to the practice. Jill has a special place in her heart for Thoroughbreds and has rescued, rehabbed, and retrained thoroughbreds off the racetrack. She is a Honors graduate of Rutgers University Cook College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management with concentrations in Ecology and Evolution. Prior to working for East Coast Equine, Jill worked for the USDA-NRCS/NJ Department of Agriculture and brings her knowledge of pasture and manure management to the practice. Jill joined East Coast Equine in July of 2015.

In her spare time, Jill enjoys riding and caring for her 2 OTTBs, family time, playing with her 3 dogs Emma, Cookie, and Ruger, exercising, spending time with her husband, and of course watching horse racing.

Rosanna Acosta

Rosanna was raised on an equine farm located in Bedminster, New Jersey and has always had a love for animals since childhood. When the hopes to one day be a veterinarian were altered by the fact that fainting at the sight of blood was inevitable, she decided to attended Saint Peter’s College in Jersey city, New Jersey where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After numerous years of employment in corporate financial banking, Rosanna decided to join our team in the Fall of 2011.

In her spare time, Rosanna enjoys spending time with her husband, riding, and playing with her two dogs, Yogi and Booboo.

Alex was born and raised in Sussex County, NJ, where she grew up on her parent’s farm. Alex has been active in dairy 4-H her whole life and is presently now a 4-H leader. She enjoys her holstein cows and showing them at the NJ State Fair in August every year. Alex has been around the veterinary industry since she was a young girl. Spending summers riding on calls with her father, Dr. Bockbrader, whenever she got the chance. Whether it was routine vaccinations or difficult surgeries, Alex was always ready to help and learn.

Prior to East Coast Equine Veterinary Service, Alex worked for her father’s practice, Tranquility Large Animal Veterinary Service. She took the past four years off to raise the last of her three children. She is very excited about rejoining the East Coast Equine Veterinary Service family.

In her spare time Alex enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids and her horse, Michael.

Jennifer Jaworski

Administrative Assistant/IT

Jennifer is a native to NJ. She grew up surrounded by nature, frequenting her parents “farm” in Upstate NY, where she still roams today. At a young age, following in her Dad’s footsteps, Jennifer taught herself how to program in BASIC and began a career with computer operations soon after high school. She is not only part of the administrative team, but brings 20+ years’ experience in IT to ECEVS. She services the computers, network, and webpage updates and general maintenance. Later in life, she received an AFA in studio arts.

In her spare time, Jennifer loves family, friends, art, music, science, history, archeology, and metal detecting.
